Description

I’m looking for a new flatmate for a lovely ground floor 2-bed flat in St John’s, Worcester, from around 18th June, subject to landlord approval and referencing. My current flatmate is moving out at the end of the tenancy, so I’m looking for someone to take over her room.

The room is an unfurnished double with space for bedside tables, a wardrobe and other small furniture, so you’d need to bring your own furniture.

The flat has a bright kitchen/living room with very tall ceilings, tall windows, and doors out to a communal patio and garden. Your bedroom also has double patio doors, so benefits from lots of natural light and airflow. One of the big perks is that each tenant has their own bathroom - the available room comes with use of the second bathroom, which also doubles as the guest bathroom. The flat also has its own front door, so there’s no need to go through the main building, plus a security gate around the side. No second designated parking spot, but lots of space to park around the building.

It’s in a convenient location for St John’s shops and surrounding areas, and is around a 20-minute walk into Worcester city centre.

Rent is £580 per month not including bills, which are currently approximately £90 per month extra, though this may increase during winter. Deposit amount/process to be confirmed with the landlord/agent and payable once referencing is approved. The landlord will need to approve the replacement tenant and complete referencing.

A bit about me: I’m a 25-year old woman, and work full-time in the creative industry, I'm in office most days, based near Kidderminster. I’m friendly, sociable and outgoing, but I like home to feel fairly calm, tidy and relaxed. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, playing rugby, movie nights, board games, trips to the pub, reading, or just doing our own things in the same space.

I’d love to live with someone I can get along with and have a chat with, while still respecting each other’s downtime and space. The flat would suit someone considerate, reliable with rent and bills, and happy to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable.

It would probably suit someone looking for a relaxed home rather than a busy house, as it’s not a party flat. Ideally a non-smoker. No couples due to landlord preferences. Happy to have one or two well-behaved, friendly pets, subject to landlord/building approval (the building currently charges £20 per month per pet). I'd prefer to live with another woman, but I am open to the right fit.

I imagine it would suit another young professional or someone with a similar lifestyle/routine, but I’m open to the right fit.

If you’re interested, please send a bit about yourself, including what you do for work, your ideal move-in date, your usual routine, and what you’re looking for in a flat share. Happy to arrange a viewing and have a chat to see if it feels like a good fit!
