Description
The room is a large room, with a double bed (with a comfortable "Emma" mattress bed), wardrobe, dining area, and space for a study area or a sofa.
The house itself is a beautiful period house with all the original features, and double glazed sash windows to keep the warmth in.
Although it is in the centre of town, it is a quiet, unadopted road and once inside the house it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside as it is so peaceful.
The bathroom is large, with both bath plus walk in shower. It is shared with me, but I hardly ever use it, so no fighting for the bathroom in the morning!
There are three lounges, one is my private "snug", the other is shared, but I don't use it very much, and the third is where I keep my work thing. s
There is a very large, private, walled garden which is not overlooked and has plenty of outdoor seating in different areas, including a lovely swing chair. And there is romantic outdoor lighting outdoor lighting on trees and hanging from the pergola.
There is space for one car, either on the drive or outside my house on the private road.
I am a very laid back, personand very sociable. I do however need my own space sometimes and the peace and quiet of this house. I dont play music in the house and would request that any tenant uses headphones for music. This is because I am studying at the moment so need to concentrate!
I have two small, well behaved quiet dogs, (miniature Australian Shepherds) and a very docile indoor cat who just sleeps all day!
the house is central to Stourport town centre, a two minute walk from the Canal, and ten minute walk from Stourport Basin and the River, where there is a lovely pub overlooking the river.
Also on the high street (again only a two minute walk away) there are two lovely coffee shops.
Take away wise there are so many to choose from nearby.
Or if it is restaurant you would prefer, there is a fantastic Indian a few minutes walk away, plus many others in the town.
If you need public transport access it's a great place to be! Very near a bus stop and the nearest train station is Hartlebury Station, which is a 7-8 minute Uber ride, or if I am free I can pick you up.
