Newly refurbished flat with a large double room available in Bishops Stortford, a 20-minute walk from the train station. There are two bedrooms in the ground floor flat, and each tenant has their own private bathroom (the bathroom for this room is across the hall).
There is a large shared living room and modern kitchen. The current tenant is clean and tidy, and the flat is a quiet place.

I am looking for a second tenant, couples considered, to join me. The new contract begins as from 2nd October - but an earlier move date is possible, once agency checks are done.
I am looking for a professional person or couple, aged 23 upwards, who are also respectful, quiet and will keep the communal areas clean - as well as treat the property with respect.
If you want somewhere for parties, then this is not for you - please do not apply.
The agency will require references and will do a credit check - so please be sure that your salary will qualify you for the rent. A minimum basic salary of £22 500 (without overtime) is required, and for a couple approx, £30 000.
Rent for a couple will be £1000 per month (and each tenant will be on the contract),and bills will be divided by 3. In other words, each person in the property will be liable for bills whether sharing a room or not.
Council tax is approx. £95 per person, or for a couple approx £120 per month, and other bills are divided equally between all three tenants. There is fibre optic broadband.
No smoking or vaping is permitted within the property. But outside smokers/vapers not an issue.
The property is rented by the landlord unfurnished. The furniture has been bought by the current tenants. For the furniture £250 is asked of anyone wishing to move in. This includes the good double bed/mattress in the bedroom, large sofa, tables and chairs in the living room, and all the kitchen equipment such as the kettle, microwave, crockery, pots, pans and utensils.
There is parking behind the flat in the private car park for one car (I don't drive).
