Looking for a new room with friendly professional

Hello all :-)

Unfortunately, the lovely home I have been living in for the last few years is being sold. I now find myself seeking a room in another lovely home with a friendly professional for a longer term let (1.5-2 years), ideally in the heart of Brighton!

Budget: 900pcm incl bills.
Move in date: ideally around the end of June/beginning of July, but I can be flexible.

A bit about me: I’m Beth, 27, a full-time working professional. I work a ‘hybrid’ role, but I work predominantly remote (Mon-Thurs). I’m willing to pay a little extra for electricity use/other bills due to the nature of my role, so please feel free to discuss this with me :) I also travel for work occasionally for 1-2 nights.

However, from Friday daytime to Sunday evenings/Monday mornings I usually stay with my partner and her adorable little kitten Evie, so you will usually have weekends to yourself!

I’m a rather quiet person (I’m autistic), and have a need for time alone - perhaps more than the average person. However, I’d still love to live with a friendly housemate who likes to catch up every now and then over a drink or a meal - I want us to be more than passing ships, but ideally you will be independent too.

I’m very clean and tidy, and it’s important that I live with someone who is also clean and courteous and happy to pull their weight with the usual house chores and communicate issues if they arise. (Hopefully they won’t!)

Some of my interests include cooking and baking, drawing, reading, gaming (PlayStation and board games), I also recently discovered that I LOVE chess, if you like it too I would love to play together (I’m awful but I try!). I also would love to try and grow some veg. If you have a space to do that, awesome, but not a deal breaker! I have a fairly active social life here in Brighton and enjoy going out for nature walks, food/drink and to board game nights/pub quizzes with friends. However, I’m well past my party days and now only enjoy the occasional glass of wine rather than getting plastered. I also love being in bed early so I won’t be disturbing you with any late night hellraising (but I don’t mind if you do - within reason!)

I’m also a non smoker with no pets.
