King-size room in Walworth townhouse

We (Ed, 33, working in academia, and Luke, 37, working in politics) are a couple looking for a new housemate for our wonderful Walworth home from mid June (the exact date can be negotiated with our third housemate who is leaving).

The new-build, well-insulated home is a few minutes walk from Kennington and Elephant & Castle tube stations. It features a roof terrace that catches the sun all day, a living room that opens onto a garden, an upstairs study, two bathrooms, a guest toilet, and of course a kitchen. The first-floor bedroom features a king-size bed, a double-width wardrobe, and a bedside table.

The house is tucked away on a quiet street behind Walworth Road, which features an M&S, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Tesco. It also has several great pubs, bars, and restaurants, particularly by the Elephant & Castle redevelopment at the top of Walworth Road.

Ed and Luke enjoy film nights, pub trips and relaxed, quiet evenings in.

Bills come to £133 per person per month. Council tax band E. A £50 fee to replace the current tenant on the contract will be split between you and the departing housemate.
