Self Contained Accommodation Wanted

I am a local single professional looking preferably for self-contained accommodation: flat, or annex that is warm, dry, with a decent bathroom and fully functional kitchen area. Preferably with a fridge and washing machine.

I am honest, friendly, respectful, and will take good care of anywhere I live. I have excellent references from my last landlady whose annex I lived in for over 4 years, as well as one from my current landlady.

I am multi- passionate, creative, active person: I love nature, walking, hiking, cycling, writing, poetry, podcasts and art. I was living in Portugal for a couple of years but an urgent family situation brought me back to the UK at the end of 2024. I've been moving around whilst finding supported living for my son but am now ready to find a long term rental. I need somewhere good train links and somewhere to store my e-bike.

I have been fully self employed for 5 years but want to move from my desk and work in communities and organisations. I'm an ex nurse, midwife and teacher and current manage a podcast for a professional body. M
