Home wanted Lyme Regis/West Dorset/E Devon areas

I'm looking for somewhere to be my home, ideally around Lyme Regis but open to other places in West Dorset/East Devon and around. Looking for somewhere long term.

I'd love to have my own space such as an annex with its own bath and small outside space to catch the sun or even a flat or house if one is available. What I'm looking for is somewhere quiet but not totally isolated. So there may be somewhere quiet on an estate or street on the edge of town or in a village in the countryside. I'd prefer not to be totally car dependent and within say half hour walk of some shops/farm shop/cafe.

I am currently in a little annex but the owner is selling and I need to be out in January. I'd ideally like to find somewhere I can settle and stay long term but as I'm under a bit of time pressure I'm also looking at shorter term places. If a house share then I'd like with just one other person rather than a busy household and preferably with my own bathroom. I have previously shared with one other person and her two cats and they all loved having me there and would be happy to provide a lovely reference.

I'm trustworthy, reliable, considerate, quiet, semi-retired. I like animals, nature, music and reading. I always pay the rent and on time.
