Double Room for 4-6 months

Hi All,

(No agencies please).

I'm looking to rent a double room or studio for a period of around 4-6 months. I may look to extend beyond 6 months, but it depends on a few things - I may be heading back to Australia towards the end of the year.

I'm open to living in most parts of London, but preferably Hackney or Waltham Forest.

I've lived in London on and off since I was 23 and mostly recently left in October 2024. I've spent the last 18 months living in Melbourne, but sadly my working visa has now expired and I'm above the age limit for another (which I'm very sad about).

I'm slowly making my way back to London, via South East Asia, and will probably be back sometime in June. Despite being devastated at being booted out of Aus, I'm excited for another London summer!

It would be nice to find a place which is relatively sociable, but I'm definitely beyond my proper partying days and like to keep things chill at home. I'm very into cinema, so people into weird arthouse cinema would be great.

I've got a fair few hobbies and interests, and tend to get on pretty well with most people. I'm very much a lefty though and prefer people of a somewhat similar mindset at least!

Into film (have a Mubi Go subscription), music/gigs, festivals, running, cycling, snowboarding, freediving, stained glass art, ceramics, board games, dancing, football (have a Spurs season ticket) and lots more.
