Looking for a calm and creative home

Hi,

I'm Luanda - a 29 year old freelance creative artist and theatre front of house worker. My most recent projects include writing and producing my first original short film as well as co-producing a multidisciplinary art event with my creative collective (last year was our fourth consecutive year!). My ideal home consists of people who respect each other and who want to make the space our own. I'd love to live with people who are up for occasional shared meals and board games (currently trying to get good at chess ... but will bring connect 4 to the table for now :')). It's also important to me that my house mates are comfortable in their own company for days when we all need to re-charge.

I'd love lots of natural light in my room and in our home and to even be walking distance from a park. It would be great to find a double room within my budget of £700 and in the Brixton area however I can go a taste over budget and be open with location for the right people and the right house.

I'm a they/she dyke so I'm looking for a queer friendly house with genuine anti-racists :)

Yonathan and I have been living together but unfortunately the landlord is taking back the property so we have to move by the end of February! Hoping to stay together and secure a place a few weeks before then.

Yonathan is 25 and is a visual artist and cinematographer. He's currently working full time on a Netflix show so I've volunteered to get the ball rolling on the admin.

He's deeply passionate about film (will recommend you one good watch a day) and he keeps a clean house, is warm and respectful and has a car (just a fun plus if you ever need a lift - he's mentioned he can cope without parking for the right space but of course it would be best if it was available!). He's happy to have a single room also and I can confirm he's good vibes as a housemate.

P. S. as I write this ... I'm realising that (apart from blurry on set pics), Yon and I don't have a single decent photo together. So our pics are separate even though we'd like to come as a pair (of friends - we're not a couple in case that wasn't clear from me rolling with the LGBT)
