Description
I am a home working professional, looking for a long term safe place to live and work in peace and quiet (short term not acceptable).
I would prefer to live close to a bus/tram stop that gives me easy access to a train station (must be a train at least once an hour 7 days a week). I am willing to relocate to another area. I do not drive.
Room must be to a good size, furnished with carpet, desk, bed, blind/curtains, and in excellent condition. Room must be at the rear of the property and NOT located on the ground floor or attic. An en-suite would be preferable but not essential. I would like access to a shower. I have difficulty in getting my legs over into a bath (hip injury and fluid in both legs).
No traffic noise (I prefer to live at the rear of the house and not on a busy road). I do not want to live in a rough area. Property must be in a good state of repair, approachable landlord who will fix problems swiftly and properly. Bills must be included and a zero or reasonably low deposit.
I expect other tenants to be respectful, considerate, and hygienic.
I don't mind pets. I like cats (I used to care for several). I won't tolerate any dangerous pets or loud or smelly ones.
I will help with house chores, but I do have a genuine medical condition, so I cannot lift heavy items. I am hyper-sensitive to and paralysed by bright (especially flashing/flickering) light. I am also sensitive to noise, so I don't want to be listening to slamming doors, people shouting, loud music, barking dogs, etc.
I am a non-smoker.
