Description
Hi,
I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful and cosy home for myself and my two 11 year old, very well-behaved, mellow indoor cats.
My ideal place would be a cozy cottage, annex, 1 bed or other self contained space, incl caravans, bright and airy, with access to a garden and/or nature.
The cats are both indoor cats, and would only go outside supervised.
Open to area incl Brighton, Hove, Lewes, nearby, Hassocks, Ditchling, Streat, Crowhurst, Eastbourne etc. Would love anywhere close to the countryside.
Also open to sublets, or longer term house sitting opportunities, or a mutual exchange (e. g. lower cost accommodation in exchange for household help, gardening, or help on farm/land.)
Would absolutely love to live on a working farm, or equestrian yard, and help out with the land and animals too! Just going to put that out there :)
My budget is up to £800/month for a self-contained space plus bills, or £650 for a room.
My background includes social media strategy, photography, and marketing, and I can offer help with promotion as well.
🌿 About me:
I’m a writer and transformational coach, and keen forager, hiker, and chocolate and tea enthusiast. I love animals, nature, outdoor adventures, poetry, beauty, and wonder, and am learning about gardening, herbalism, and permaculture.
I’m mostly veggie, but I do eat meat as a health requirement, and prefer to source from our local farms.
🐈 About the cats:
Seb is a very chill Ragdoll, who’s hobbies include laying on his back in a sunbeam like a sea otter, watching the birds, the rain, and sleeping on half of my pillow at night.
Fluffs is a slightly less mellow Tortie, who divides her time between playing with her ball, bird watching, and sunbathing as well.
They’ve travelled from the US to the UK with me, and through Europe too, and are house trained.
☀️ Dates:
I’m looking to move by August 17.
We’ve lived in our current flat in Hove for 4 years, but my landlord wants to sell, and now we’re currently facing eviction and homelessness on the 18th.
I’m neuro-divergent and I know I couldn’t handle emergency accommodation or being separated from my cats, so I’m open to a short term solution as well that lets me find something longer term. Will definitely consider rooms/shares too.
🌻 If you think we might be a fit, or if you’d like to have a chat, please send me a message!
Thank you!
Best wishes,
Sandi
