Professional looking for house/flat shares 🙂

INTRODUCTION

I’ve recently moved back to Bristol (after a stint in London) and am looking to find a nice house-share with nice friendly people.

Here’s a fairly full profile with some things about me, hopefully not an essay and hopefully coherent but well done if you get to the end.

ABOUT ME

I’m a professional librarian, working mainly in HE libraries and am currently working at UWE Bristol as a subject specialist, supporting students with teaching, enquiries and liaison.

I’m currently living in a house-share near to Horfield/Southmead and would like to be within a decent distance of work and play - living either in this area or living in other areas within commuting distance.

Timings-wise, I’m very flexible in terms of moving from my current property, but am happy to work around other people in terms of moving dates.

I’m LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent, and it would be lovely to find others who are either of these things but it’s not essential.

Similarly looking for people who are a similar age range to me, but again it’s not essential.

Couple of neurodivergent things to flag up:

*Apologies if I don’t respond straight away to messages (and thanks to everyone who has messaged me with rooms they’re sharing), I will endeavour to reply to people as quickly as I can.

*In return, I’d really appreciate it you could acknowledge my messages and be clear about what is advertised - e. g, size of room, length of tenancy, number of housemates etc. I struggle with retaining information so the clearer it is, the better.

*Also, I’d really appreciate if you can tell me asap when a room is taken - it helps manage my expectations/anxiety.

MY INTERESTS

*Music Listening - new music, bands, radio shows, going to gigs.
*Music Production - writing, composing and creating my own compositions.
*Other creative interests - following modern art, photography, church architecture, reading etc.
*Leisure pursuits including walking/hiking, travelling/exploring, trying new things (yoga, pilates, ParkRun).
*Also interested in reading non-fiction, politics and current affairs, American comics (80s/90s Marvel).
