Description
Looking in Alfriston or Lewes. (maybe Seaford)
If London then Barnes village or Wandsworth Common.
...But if you have something amazing elsewhere feel free to message me.) No agents please.
Happy to share with any gender, nationality and age including children old enough to be sensible with a dog.
In a home and housemates I value calm, peacefulness, mutual respect, friendliness, kindness, and hopefully some laughter. People who drink in moderation (or not at all). Outside-only smoking.
Caring for the environment, and our health, I only use eco-friendly products.
I eat vegan plus fish, so does my dog!
I am looking for somewhere long term/permanent so do please take that into consideration.
I have a dog! He's a small to medium size (11kg) 3 year old mongrel rescue from Cyprus. He's friendly to people and other dogs but can get nervous around large dogs or ones that are over-exuberant. We both really, really want a garden! Generally well-behaved though still a little chewy! I brush him every other day but he does still shed a bit (but I don't mind sweeping the floor every other day).
I have a 5ft grand piano - I compose classical music - it's my vocation and raison d'etre - so the piano is absolutely essential to me. I also used to teach piano and music theory.
In an ideal situation would love to build something in a garden for the piano.
Please note that I am at home most of the time due to a heart condition and vertigo (both basically just bad luck). I've gone from being someone super-heathy who travelled half the world alone and free, to having to pay someone to take me to the supermarket! It's crap but that's the way it is. On the plus side I love cooking and am happy to share what I make with other people. Ditto for growing vegetables, herbs and edible flowers.
Can provide excellent references from current and previous landlords - rent paid in advance without fail & property well looked after.
Ideally I would move in late April 2025 as I have upcoming hospital appointments in London and although my current tenancy is now month-to-month I kind of feel duty-bound (stupid but true!) to pay the rent here until then.
However, I would move any time if the perfect place came up.
Wishing you a blue-sky day.
