      - Lee
- 49, professional male
- Double room wanted
Total budget: £1,500 pcm
Description
Hi, my name is Lee.
I hope you are well.
About me:
• I am easy going
• I have a calm manner and good sense of humour
• Work is a priority
• I can respect people’s space but wish the same for me
• I will clear up after myself but not after other people
My situation:
I have stayed with family members for the last two years due to my former landlord wanting to sell the house and being unable to get somewhere else in time. I work in London but my family does not, so I need to be closer (and London is way better than here!).
What I am looking for:
I am looking for a room, a studio or one bed flat up to £1500/month, preferably including bills. I’m not a fan of the old housing blocks but if the room is good enough, I will consider them. I am looking somewhere with space as I have books, CDs etc, and cannot really afford to put everything in storage indefinitely.
There are areas I would love to move to but will not say explicitly as I want to be open to the best place I can get.
I also work out of the office. Although we have to go back in to work twice a week, I am aware some landlords now don’t want people working from home. I have alternatives and am looking at the possibility of hiring cheap office space if need be.
Things to consider:
1. I am looking for somewhere long-term
2. I am self-employed and having been away from my last house for two years, cannot guarantee ex-landlord references but there is no reason for them not to
3. Rent is always the priority
4. Viewing is restricted to weekends and ’days off’ (ahem, ahem) as I don’t drive and am of a distance from London
5. I am always upfront about anything but also easy going, good humoured, respect other people’s space but I do stand my ground.
6. NO SUB LETS unless long-term (ie 1 year +)
7. Everything above is true but may be rewritten accordingly. What can I say I am fickle?
If you have anything suitable or have any questions, please let me know. I don’t bite. Honestly… I don’t…. ☹
Thank you for your time.
You are now free to go about your day.
Best Wishes,
Lee
