Room needed for 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off (approx.)

Easy going, friendly and well mannered person looking for a room within short distance of a train station to commute to London.

I often travel abroad and within the UK so would only occupy the place for approximately 2 weeks (up to 3) within a month, usually with some weekends away during that time but not all, then the following approx. 3 weeks or more I am away (longer around Christmas, New Year, Easter etc.). This unusual situation is reflected in the budget.
I can also assure that in any situation I respect owners' property and would not waste their electricity, water, etc - I used to own a property and know first hand how costly that can be.

Decent broadband required as I work from home two days per week.

Access to washing machine, some storage for kitchen stuff and small area in a fridge needed - I cook every few days and generally stick to simple & quick meals.

Garage/parking not needed - I don't own a car, however a safe storage space for my bicycle would be a bonus.

I don't smoke/vape and only occasionally drink socially.

I like pets and can help take care of them sometimes if needed.
