Bookseller Looking for a Room / Flat :)

hey I’m lottie and I’m a bookseller / writer / illustrator from london. currently waiting to hear back about a full-time job that will require me to relocate to york on very short notice, as close to the city centre as possible, so looking for a temporary (up to 3 months) place for me to find my feet while I wait for my boyfriend to relocate too.

I’m open to renting a studio, joining an established houseshare or starting a new (small) group. I likely won’t be around a whole lot since I’ll be busy with work, but when I am at home I’m clean, tidy and quiet when needed - looking for housemates who are similar, not a party every night kind of house although occasional partying is welcome. I’m very used to house sharing. I’m also up for pub trips / movie nights / whatever else you have in mind. I like art, writing, making music and spooky scary things. I’m lgbtq+ friendly and have a predominantly lgbtq+ friend group.

my boyfriend will be visiting and sometimes staying overnight but will not be hogging communal areas lol. we’ll most likely be looking for a flat to move into together not long after I move, so no proper long term contracts please. if not a studio, an hmo / sublet with flexible terms is ideal. I can provide a guarantor who is a UK homeowner if needed.

since this will be a temporary situation I’m not overly fussed about room size, as long as it’s furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and maybe a desk or space for one. I’m happy to live in a household where people own pets or smoke although I do neither myself. I come with book discounts!
