Friendly, tidy, and respectful Australian

I am coming to London from Australia at the end of November, and looking for a room somewhere around the Borough of Hackney.
I will have just completed my BA in Philosophy, and am going to be working as a teacher's assistant, but also plan to do some freelance writing on politics, music, and culture. Previously I worked in the public sector in policy-related work, but have had other jobs as a gardener, bartender, farm-hand and English literature tutor.
I was born in London, but moved to Melbourne with my family at a young age, where I grew up and went to school, though have been back to London many times since, as well as Ireland, where I have lots of family.

I am interested in music and art, and am looking forward to immersing myself in the scene, attending gigs, galleries, and talks, and perhaps forming a band.

I like to keep things tidy, and am considerate of others, having lived in several share houses throughout my studies. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, often taking inspiration from meals I have whilst travelling.
I understand the need to be considerate of others, so keeping things like the kitchen, bathroom and shared spaces clean is a strong priority of mine.
