6 month short term let

Heyyy everyone!

I’m Sufina, I’m 30 and born and raised in London. I’m looking for a room to rent for around 6 months, from 26 October until May, when I’ll be heading off travelling.

I work remotely Monday to Friday, so reliable Wi-Fi is really important to me. I’m generally quiet during working hours and happy keeping myself to myself, but outside of work I’m very friendly, sociable and easy to get along with. I’m often out in the evenings or at weekends, so I won’t be permanently in the house either.

I’m happy with either a single or double room. I’m looking for somewhere furnished, but I really don’t need much — ideally just a bed and a desk so I have somewhere comfortable to sleep and work. A wardrobe isn’t essential.

My budget is up to around £450 per month, ideally less if possible, and I’m looking for somewhere where all bills are included within that amount, including Wi-Fi.

I don’t need loads of kitchen space as I’ll mostly be eating out, grabbing meal deals or reheating leftovers rather than doing much cooking. I’d just need a little fridge space and access to something like a microwave or air fryer. Access to a washing machine is also important.

Location-wise, I’d ideally like to be somewhere reasonably close to everyday amenities, particularly supermarkets or convenience shops, as that makes day-to-day life much easier for me.

A little more about me: I’m Muslim, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, and I have no children or pets. I’m clean, respectful of other people’s space and quite independent. I enjoy having a chat and being friendly with the people I live with, but I’m equally happy doing my own thing and giving everyone their privacy.

I’m only back in London for these few months to reset, sort out some life admin and get everything ready before I leave for my travels in May, so I’m specifically looking for a short-term home rather than somewhere I’ll be staying long term.

Ideally, I’d love somewhere relaxed, friendly and comfortable where I can work peacefully during the day and feel at home for the few months I’m there.
