Manc Journalist Looking For A Room!

Hi there! I'm Jonathan, 24 years old, and from Manchester. I'm a journalism graduate doing freelance videography / documentary filmmaking for fun, but for now it's just a hobby so I'll be working full-time!

I've lived in Manchester my whole life and studied here too, so now I'm looking for a fresh start somewhere new. My current friends are scattered up and down the country, so it's important to me that I meet new people and build close relationships with my housemates if possible :)

I'm very sociable and love talking about anything! In my free time I always like to be doing something, whether it's going for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or spending the day in record stores. I do a lot of writing too, whether it's reviews or fiction. I love researching and learning about different types of music.

I'm ultimately looking for work in broadcast media, my passions and skills closely aligning with radio and TV. My dream role at the moment would be something in the BBC, but while I'm applying for a role there my experience in retail and hospitality will hopefully land me a role in those sectors for the time being.

Depending on how you look at it, my only downside could be that I'm a guitarist and mega music fan. I'm not loud by any means and will always be considerate as I would expect from others, but if you want non-stop dead silence in your accommodation all day I am not your guy!
