Hello, I have decided to let out my own property due to the costs involved - It is difficult to make ends meet with the cost of living being what it is. I'm sure you understand as you are looking for a lodger.

I am a quiet living mature man, sociable yet private too. In an ideal world, I would like something like the top floor of a townhouse with en-suite but I'm keeping an open mind and this is by no means a deal breaker.

However, the room needs to be relatively large - a double with space to move around without edging sideways and in a house that is shared with someone I can enjoy a chat with or even an occasional drink with, but someone with whom I can get along, generally.

My wild days are over (thankfully!) I like to read, listen to music, watch films and TV. If the house contains 'lively', 'fun', 'outgoing' type of people, it sounds like my idea of living hell. Don't get me wrong, I like to have a laugh!

I am a non-practicing gym goer at present, as the ever-increasing pressure on the waistband of my trousers will testify, but my default position is that I like fitness pursuits - mainly gym and weights but running too.

I won't be bringing too much stuff with me because I will be renting a storage unit but if there is somewhere I can safely and securely store a pushbike, that will be a bonus, but again, not a deal breaker.

So, if you need a hand paying your bills and you have some of what I described above, I would like to hear from you. I don't do drugs or smoke and that must describe you, also. People on drugs are so...boring. I like the occasional drink but never in excess.

I am full time employed, Monday to Friday but need 7 days a week accommodation. I work from 6am to 2.30 pm, so will be up early. Don't worry- I am exceedingly considerate. You will not find me crashing about the place, waking you up.

This would be a long-term thing, I don't want to be moving any more than I have to so short term lets would be unsuitable.
