Buddy up/ double room for a lovely young man!

Hello! My name is Reuben, and I'm looking to find a place around Chapel Allerton, Chapeltown, Potternewton or maybe Meanwood.

I am very familiar with Leeds; although I've been aware for a few months, I've been mostly settled there since 2017. So now I'm returning, I’m on the lookout for a sociable, relaxed and clean home to share — ideally with other postgrads or professionals. I'm a solid ambivert: I enjoy some company but I understand that personal space is needed. In terms of housemates, I’d prefer to live either with another guy or in a diverse household of up to 4 people (ideally not too “studenty”).

I'm doing a PhD in disability research, and while I'm (attempting to be) focused during the week, I really do value a homely vibe— the odd shared dinner, watching telly (especially horror films or nerdy stuff, but I'm versatile), maybe a walk or hike at the weekend. Also down for the occasional boogie too, especially if it's some 'oontz oontz' music.

Into cooking and happy to share if keen. Although I am not a vegetarian/vegan, I am more than happy to expand my repertoire! I have a lot of kitchen stuff (which you can use as long as you don't try to let it soak for a week after), so space is definitely something to consider. On that note, while not completely necessary, I would definitely appreciate a place with a dishwasher.
