PhD Student Looking for a Room to Rent

Hello,

I am a postgraduate research student in electronic and electrical engineering at the University of Exeter.

I am looking for a quiet room to rent, preferably close to Streatham campus. (ensuite preferred, but I am flexible - room, studio etc are ok too). I don't mind walking.

I don't smoke, I don't have pets, I am single and don't have any dependants. In short, it's only me.

I would like to emphasize the following: I am probably the most quiet house mate / flat mate / tenant / lodger that you can imagine (without any exaggeration). I respect other people's space an privacy. I keep myself to myself. I am just looking for a place where I can focus in silence on my research.

What I am not looking for: conversations with house mates (or with flat mates, with landlords or with landladies), companionship, social interaction. I only need to rent a room. I am not interested in anything else. I value my time and it is my choice who I spend it with, or whether I want to be left alone and so on. I expect people to respect this.

I am really focused on my studies, very quiet and very respectful of other people's peace and quiet. I don't bring visitors, I like quiet evenings. I am more than happy to give references from my live-in landlady.

I am available to rent the room immediately although I can be flexible, if needed.

Would suit house mates / flatmates or live-in landlords / landladies who care about their peace and quiet.
