Employed male (56) looking for room in Dumfries.

I am a friendly 56 years old male, a university graduate and employed full-time in a clerical capacity with the NHS at Cargenbridge. I am looking for a single or double room preferably with en-suite and happy to share with males or females. I don’t drive and depend on public transport to get to and from work so a nearby bus stop would be handy.

I enjoy a healthy and mindful lifestyle. I don’t smoke/vape, do drugs or drink alcohol and follow a pescatarian diet.

I’m a very disciplined and passionate all-weather road runner (occasionally trail) and run 3 days out of 4. I run early in the morning before breakfast/work so typically retire for the evening at around 7.30pm and wake around 3.30am (not a typo!) for my morning run. I’m quiet as a mouse when doing so though!

While I don’t follow football, engage with social media or watch much TV, I do enjoy reading and films - particularly espionage, period drama, mystery, adventure and sci-fi. I also have myriad musical tastes ranging from classical to electronic and movie soundtracks. In a previous life I was a website developer so still tinker with computers, code and databases from time to time. I love animals, the great outdoors, Mother Nature and have a keen interest in science, technology and spirituality.

I am clean and tidy, respectful, considerate, empathic, tolerant ...very much a ‘live and let live’ type person. I prefer a calm, gentle, peaceful environment, civil conversation and good humour over loud noise and partying and would like to share with like-minded individuals.
