Looking to Buddy Up – Double Room, Ensuite, bright

Hi! I’m currently looking for a double room with either an ensuite or a private (Jack & Jill-style) bathroom — ideally not shared. A space with lots of natural light would be amazing, and a balcony would be a huge bonus. I’d also love a place with amenities if possible, and I’m open to bills-included options. Location would preferably be close to Ancoats/New Islington but anywhere works if it's close to tram/train stations for easy commute.

A little about me: I'm 24, I work 12-hour day shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota, so my schedule can vary a bit — but I’m always respectful of shared spaces and downtime. I’m a pretty social person and enjoy a good balance between being out and about and spending time at home.

At home, you’ll usually find me with the Missus, cooking, listening to music, or relaxing with my 9-month-old kitten — she’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality. I also enjoy a chilled evening with a glass of wine and good company.

I like to keep my space tidy but still cozy, and I really appreciate living with someone who cleans up as they go — it just makes shared living that much nicer for everyone.

It would be great to live with someone who’s open to being more than just housemates — whether that’s watching a series or movie together, having a catch-up over a drink, or just sharing the occasional laugh. That said, I also respect personal space and quiet time.
