My name is Matt and I've lived in Stroud for 11 years and now looking for somewhere new to call home.

I would especially like to find somewhere to share, close to Stroud Town Centre, Uplands, Rodborough etc.

I'm a calm, respectful person. I'd prefer to live with someone who enjoys quiet, especially in the evenings and at night. I keep a clean and tidy home and understand that sharing a space means clearing up after oneself.

I have a nine year old son who I'd need to stay with me one night per week (probably Thursdays) and would regularly like to bring to the house, usually after school, for a couple of hours. Max is a lovely boy, sweet natured and bright. He'd also be around in the school holidays. This is why a large bedroom space is important.

I work part-time as an Office Manager in a local school and I'm also an illustrator.

I enjoy art exhibitions, cooking, short and long walks, film, reading, swimming, nature and hiking. I try to go for a run twice a week and do a bit of yoga to keep limber. I attend a local book group and weekly life drawing classes.

Some other info: I don't smoke. I have no pets but do love cats. I love Stroud.

I have an electric, folding bicycle, so will need a secure place (garage/shed/utility room etc.) to keep it, out of the rain.

I know what it’s like to live either as a tenant or a lodger, having previously lived that way in family homes and shared houses with folk of various ages. I’ve always enjoyed it and learnt a great deal about sharing space with others. I’m someone who likes a quiet homelife. Drawing some evenings, or early to bed with a book and listening to BBC Sounds (with headphones on!). But I also enjoy good company, and it would be nice to live in a home where coming together from time to time is the norm. I’m mostly a vegetarian, with a little fish, ocassionaly (no meat).
