Description
Hi.
About Me-
I work in education in primary schools. Ive been a TA and cover supervisor. Right now im taking some time to gain more experience in the sector. I'm aiming to apply for teacher training so if all goes well I'll be a trainee teacher soon.
I've lived with all types of people so I'm familiar with sharing spaces. I'm a quiet person who likes a peaceful, calm environment. I like to have chats every so often but I respect peoples privacy.
I am looking for a QUIET and CLEAN home. I put that in CAPS because out of all the things I could ask for these are very important to me. It doesnt have to noiseless lol, because I do like my music but just not a rowdy house or area.
I'm an early riser ( about 6 ) and try to go to bed early (about 10) on the weekdays so I work regular hours. I won't really be out late in the evenings unless there's the odd party to go to but I do most of my socialising during the day.
OI love working with children but it's exhausting! So I'm looking for a very quiet and chilled out home to come to in the evenings. I feel I'm approachable, friendly and easy to get on with and enjoy a good conversation every so often but I also appreciate my own and other peoples' space.
I'm tidy but I do like a 'lived' in house (not a dirty one but not an overly clean one either). I would like a housemate who is houseproud and maintains a good standard of cleaning. I'm more than happy to take turns with chores i. e hoovering taking out the bins etc. Whatever works even if that means using a rota i don't mind.
I enjoy cooking and discovering new recipes. I love music but also respect noise levels -especially around bedtime! I love muscials, I love dancing, before lockdown i was attending a lindyhop class in Balham. You might see me dancing around the house, you have been warned lol. I also do a bit of yoga.
Weekends I try to have a lie in, I might be chilling out or heading to church. Id consider my partying days over but i might go out every so often to the cinema or theatre although I'm just as happy relaxing at home. Id enjoy a box of popcorn and a good movie with my potential flatmate occasionally. U, PG OR 12 only ...LOL. I'm not kidding though. Im careful about what i watch. I also have a sick relative that I visit occasionally.
Id be looking for a mid/long term let anywhere from 1- 2/years. I'd like stability, although i appreciate life can bring us unexpected changes I need somewhere i know i can stay for a minimum of 2 years.
Location
I'm looking for a home close to transportation links but also off road in a quiet area near to local shops etc.
Flatmates
Id ideally like to share with up to 1 or 2 other people
Id like to live with like minded flatmates who are respectful, communicate well and are friendly.. Not just somewhere to sleep and eat but a home too.
Id like flatmates that are happy with a balance of being a sociable flatmate and also leading an independent life, as I can have busy weeks and value a bit of my own space every so often. My previous landlord/s may be able to provide references if needed.
I'm open to pets - I really like cats! But i don't have any. Lol.
Hope to hear from anyone Interested soon! Please drop me a line via my inbox if you have any questions or would like a quick chat
thanks
take care
