I'm looking for a double room in Cambridge

Hi! I'm looking for a double room in Cambridge. I'd ideally like somewhere bright where my plants can thrive and to live with a person/people who are chill but up for the occasional adventure.

My name is Kayleigh but I often go by klee, my pronouns are they/them or she/her, I'm 26 and just got offered a job at the Cambridge University Museum of Zoology as a senior digitiser (essentially I coordinate photography of plants + insects). I've been working in museums for a while now and always down to discuss all things heritage!

I love cycling and go basically everywhere on my bike, so would be looking for somewhere with decent bike storage (I understand cycling is big in Cambridge, which I am very excited about). Other hobbies include writing, knitting + crochet, watching horror films, swimming, and reading. I'd really like to learn to rollerskate and I'm mentioning that here in case anyone is looking for a skate buddy as well as a housemate!

I'm very tidy and (I like to think) good at sharing space- I do love spending time in my room but value communal spaces and shared activities such as eating together or watching a series or going out together. I'm mostly vegan (/freegan) but lax with and I love cooking for people- I live by Meera Sodha's recipes and would probably cook them often!

I drink alcohol occasionally and am always up for a pub trip/night out but I'm equally happy to stay at home with a cup of tea. I'm also queer and socially engaged + would consider myself fairly involved in activism. Would love people able to show me around the city as someone who has seldom set foot anywhere south of Lincoln!
