Professional, clean & tidy male, 51, looking for a friendly home – 6+ months

Hi, I’m Jonathan, a 51-year-old British professional, originally from Buckinghamshire. After several years working abroad, I’m now settling back into the UK and looking for a comfortable, friendly house or flat share while I explore my next professional opportunity.

I have over 25 years’ experience in commercial roles and am professional, reliable, respectful and financially responsible. I’m also very clean and tidy and take pride in looking after wherever I live.

Outside of work, I’m easy-going, independent and sociable without being intrusive. I enjoy good company but also appreciate having my own space, and I’m looking for a home rather than simply somewhere to sleep. I’d hope to be the sort of housemate who is considerate, clean and easy to get along with.

Location-wise, I’m flexible, although I’d particularly like to be in Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire. Ideally, I’d like somewhere within walking distance of a town centre, with reasonably convenient transport links to London. I’m open to other locations too if the right opportunity comes along.

I’m looking for a 7-day-per-week rental for 6 months or longer, with a budget of around £700–£800 per calendar month. Ideally, I’d like a furnished double room. An en-suite or private bathroom would be fantastic, although it’s not essential.

I’m flexible around moving dates. I could take a room from around 1 November, potentially earlier if required, or I can delay my move by a few weeks for the right place.

I’m open to different types of household and would ideally like somewhere comfortable, friendly and well looked after.
