Double room close to MMU

Hi! I'm Cassiano, a 29-year-old PhD researcher from Brazil.

I'll be moving to Manchester in October 2026 to join Manchester Metropolitan University as a fully funded Visiting PhD Researcher for around 9 months.

I'm looking for a furnished room in Ardwick, Hulme, Fallowfield, or anywhere within walking distance of MMU and local supermarkets.

A little about me...

I'm a non-smoker, clean, organised and respectful. I'm very easy-going and genuinely enjoy living with people from different backgrounds. I like getting to know my housemates, sharing the occasional chat, coffee or meal, and making new friends. At the same time, I completely respect everyone's personal space and understand that everyone has their own routine.

During the week, I'll usually spend most of my time at the university doing research. Occasionally, I may work from home, so I'm looking for a comfortable and peaceful place where I can focus when needed.

I'm quite active outside work—I enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places and making the most of my time in a new city. I don't smoke, I don't throw parties, and I always look after the place where I live.

As this will be my first time living in Manchester, I'm hoping to find more than just a room. I'd love to find a place that genuinely feels like home during my stay, with friendly people who enjoy a relaxed and respectful atmosphere.
