Property wanted - long or short term

Myself and my partner are relocating to Cumbria for my new role working in forestry. We are both professionals with secure jobs and income and are looking for a property anywhere between Kendal and north of Penrith (either side of the M6!).

Ideally, we are looking for an unfurnished 2+ bed whole property for a long term let. However, with our current tenancy ending and my new job starting shortly afterwards, we are also open to a furnished short term let (1 bedroom would be fine too) while we find the right longer term home.

I will be out at work during the week and my partner works away during the week, with us both generally home at weekends. We spend most of our free time hiking and enjoying the outdoors. I’m also a keen gardener, so some outdoor space is important, particularly as my collection of potted pine and fir trees will be relocating with me! 🌲

We are quiet, respectful, very clean and tidy tenants and have always looked after the properties we’ve lived in. We can provide an excellent reference from our current landlord.
