Post Grad looking for accommodation or buddy up

I am currently a nurse in the states, but I will be moving to Edinburgh in September for my MPH at University of Edinburgh. I will be bringing my 9 year old border collie, Bailey. She is slowing down in her older age, but still loves to get out for hikes and enjoys a cuddle.

I am hoping to find a furnished flat or furnished room in a flat for no more than 750 pounds pcm. Ideally it will have a washing/drying machine, but I can be flexible for the right price. Bonus points if there's a dishwasher, but i'm finding these are rare in most flats in my price range. Quick access (<15 min)to public transit is a must as I won't have a car.

I expect I will be mostly occupied with my studies, but in my free time I like to explore and be outdoors as much as possible. I also enjoy aerial silks and hope to continue my training during school. I enjoy the occasional night out, but the majority of my evenings are quietly spent winding down in front of a comfort show and cuddling Bailey. The ideal flat mate would match this vibe. I'm tidy, but not a complete neat freak and hope to find a flatmate that is about the same.
