Description
TLDR: looking for good people, a cosy home and somewhere I can properly settle into. If that sounds like your house, I’d love to hear from you :)
Hi! I’m Shrija, a product designer currently wrapping up my MA and looking for a lovely place to call home from September onwards.
I’m looking in either Cambridge (ideally somewhere with easy access to the city) or London (good Tube access is important!). I’d ideally like a furnished room with enough space for a desk, in a house of no more than four people total. I’d prefer living with women, and I’m completely happy sharing a bathroom as long as everyone is tidy and considerate. 👀
A little about me: I’m pretty active, gym regularly and walk a lot, and I’m mostly plant-based. I also cook at home quite a bit, so you’ll probably find me pottering around the kitchen every other day. 😭
More than anything, I’m looking for a house that actually feels like a home. I’d love to live with kind, honest and caring people who are open to becoming friends rather than just occasionally passing each other in the hallway. Think chats in the kitchen, occasional dinners together, deep conversations at questionable hours, while still respecting that everyone has their own life and needs their own space. 🫶🏽
I really value cleanliness, mutual respect and basic consideration for the people you live with. I’m very happy to do my part in keeping a home nice, and I’m looking for housemates who feel the same, without anyone having to become the designated parent of the house.
For Cambridge, I’m looking around £450–470 pcm, ideally including bills, and would be staying for at least six months. For London, I’m looking around £650–700 pcm including bills and, for the right home, I’d happily stay long-term.
