Looking for a room | Manchester City Centre / East

Hey! I’m Ankit, 24, working full-time and currently looking for a room in Manchester.

My first choice would be somewhere around M1, Manchester Piccadilly, Beswick or central/east Manchester, ideally as close to Piccadilly as possible. I travel towards Gorton for work and also travel to other UK cities fairly regularly, so having good access to Piccadilly and public transport is important to me.

Budget: Up to £600 pcm including bills
Move-in: Early October / as soon as the right place is available
Length: Ideally at least 6 months
Looking for: A furnished room in a clean, comfortable house or flat share

A little about me:

I work full-time, 5 days a week, so I’m usually out during the day and relatively quiet at home. I’m clean, tidy, respectful of shared spaces, a non-smoker and not someone looking for a constant party house.

That said, I’m sociable and would prefer living with people I can actually get along with rather than everyone disappearing into their rooms. I’m always happy to have a chat, grab the occasional pint, cook together or have a chilled house night.

Outside work I’m into gym/fitness, gaming, chess, F1, poker, music, cooking, travelling and exploring new places. I also work on a few of my own projects and generally like keeping busy.

The main thing I’m looking for is a home that’s clean, relaxed and respectful, with decent people and good transport links.
