27yr old creative seeking housing in totnes

Greetings! I’m Aaron. I’m a 27 year old currently living in Torquay. After nearly four fantastic years living with my current landlady, she now wants to do something else with the room and property, meaning I am on the lookout for something new.

I am an open-minded, warm, friendly, easy going, mature, responsible, tidy, organised, punctual, and clean individual who takes a lot of pride in wherever they live, and takes good care of my surroundings. I have very good references from my landlady which I would be happy to pass on. I am financially stable, can afford deposits and upfront rent, have savings, etc.

I am a freelance creative, with several art forms and mediums which I pursue (art, 3D graphics & animation, music production, composition, piano, creative writing, and software development). I am also very alternative, and very into DIY, open source tech, solarpunk, activism, sustainability and self-sufficiency; as well as general interests like longform video essays, worldbuilding, walking, wild camping, thrifting, physics, cosmology, spirituality, history, and human geography.

I’m looking to move to the Totnes area as it aligns with my values, and I have several vocational and enterprising projects I wish to get off the ground that I think would be well-suited in Totnes. I am flexible on length of stay, and am very flexible when it comes to living arrangements and space. Initially, I am mostly seeking something temporary from which to seek something more permanent in the area without having to travel in.

In terms of timeframe, my landlady is being incredibly lenient bless her, but I am looking to move out as soon as possible - the quicker I am out the quicker she can get on with it. I’m already fully packed up and ready to go - could move out on a few days notice if needed.
