Young professional looking to move to Chelmsford

I am looking for accommodation in the city of Chelmsford, as I have a job there starting 19th Oct.
I would like to live with fellow young professionals in a shared house (preferably not lodging), but I'll take what I can get.

Because I only just finished my master's degree, I do not have proof of income for the last 3 months, so will need a landlord to whom that can be explained (likely a private landlord, not letting agency).

I am tidy, especially in shared spaces; respectful and like cooking.

I am also a former manual laborer (with carpentry specific experience), so am able to help out with repairs, maintenance and other miscellaneous jobs if that is wanted.
