Professional couple looking for Cambridge Home

My partner and I have recently moved from Sydney to the UK and are looking for a comfortable place to call home while we’re based in Cambridge.

We’ve both been working professionally in Sydney for around seven years. I’ve been working in software and AI at Commonwealth Bank and am currently completing a part-time Master’s in AI Ethics and Society at Cambridge. My partner works in the energy and solar sector.

We’re looking for a clean, relaxed and friendly home, ideally with one or two other people rather than a very large house share. We’d be happy living with professionals, postgraduate students or similarly settled people who are friendly and respectful of shared spaces. We enjoy having a chat in the kitchen or occasionally sharing a meal or board game, while also being very comfortable doing our own thing.

Outside work and study, I love hiking and rock climbing, and my partner enjoys board games and ultimate frisbee. We’re hoping to make the most of being in the UK by travelling and hiking quite a bit, so we expect to be away reasonably often.

As flatmates, we’re tidy, considerate and non-smokers. We’re looking for somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply a room to sleep in, and would love to live with people who have a similarly relaxed and respectful approach to sharing a space.
