28yo Professional – Moving to Manchester

I’m Joe, 28, from Brighton down south and relocating back to Manchester for a new job in finance sales starting on 12th October. I’m looking to move pretty much immediately - ideally within the next couple of weeks.

I’ve lived in Manchester before and I’m really looking forward to getting settled back up there. Ideally I’d like to find a one bed house share with one other person, although I’d definitely consider a larger house share if it felt like the right fit. The only real non negotiable for me is having my own bathroom.

I’ll be working in the office at least 4 out of 5 days each week, 9 hours a day.

I’m friendly, sociable and easy to get on with, but I also really value having my own space and downtime. Ideally I’d like to live with someone I get on well with and can have a chat, drink or dinner with from time to time, while still both having our own lives.

Outside of work I’m pretty easy going - I like to gym, cook, watch films, go out for food/drinks and generally get out and about. I’m clean and respectful of shared spaces and looking for somewhere that feels like a home rather than just somewhere I’m renting a room. I like to travel and will probably be visiting home for a few days at a time as often as I can!
