Looking for good sized victorian room

Hi, I’m Mike, 43, and I’m a full-time software engineer currently living in Brighton. I’m looking to move to Clapham, Balham, Tooting or North Streatham from 1 November, ideally for at least 6 months.

I’ve been in my current place for 7 years, so I’m very settled and used to treating somewhere as a proper home. I’m clean, considerate, quiet and easy-going, and respectful of shared spaces.

I work from home around 4 days a week, so I’m ideally looking for a bright, decent-sized room with space for a desk and PC, plus reliable internet. I tend to prefer older properties with a bit more space and higher ceilings.

I’m quite independent and not looking for a party house, but I’m friendly and happy to chat or have the occasional drink with housemates. A relaxed professional household would suit me well.

Good car parking and somewhere secure to keep a bike would be a bonus, but neither is essential.
