Moving to Edinburgh In November/December

I’m looking for a double room in Edinburgh to move into around December, or I’m very open to buddying up with someone to find a nice flat together!

I’m a software engineer working a hybrid role, splitting my time between working from home and heading into the office. I’ve been living in Glasgow for the last four years, but I’m ready for a bit of a life change and a fresh start in Edinburgh. I’m definitely looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just a crash pad. I love hanging out over a shared meal, a pint, or a catch-up in the evening, while fully respecting everyone’s need for personal space and downtime.

When I’m not working, I love getting out into nature and going for long walks, which is why I’d ideally love to be near The Meadows(around Bruntsfield, Marchmont, or Morningside) or close to a park.
I’m vegetarian myself (though completely fine sharing a kitchen with meat-eaters), a massive animal lover who would be delighted if you happen to have pets, and an LGBTQ+ ally who's very happy living in an inclusive, queer-friendly home.
