I'm Dan, 40, a friendly, creative and easy-going soul looking for somewhere peaceful and welcoming to call home while I navigate a bit of a fresh start in life.

I work in adult social care alongside building my own design and build business. I'm responsible, considerate and respectful of people's space, but equally love good conversation, shared meals and a little silliness!

I'm queer, open-minded and love nature, exploring, cooking, making things and connecting with interesting humans. Kindness, authenticity and good communication mean a lot to me.

The slightly unusual bit...

I'm also a very involved dad to two wonderful kids, aged 10 and 8. Ideally, I'd love somewhere they could stay with me on alternate weekends and during some school holidays.

I appreciate children in a house share aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm hoping someone might see the people rather than just the logistics. ❤️

That said, I'm also open to a temporary arrangement for just myself for a few months while I find somewhere more permanent for the three of us.

What I'm looking for...

A spacious double room, annex, studio or friendly house share around Chepstow, Caldicot, Magor, the Forest of Dean, Newport or surrounding areas.

Budget around £5-600pcm, ideally including bills, with some flexibility for the right place.

I'd love to live with kind, open-minded people who value community, communication and personal space. Equally, a peaceful little place of my own would be wonderful!

I'm a big believer in putting your intentions out into the universe and seeing what beautiful things come back. Sometimes you've just got to ask and see what lands! ✨
