Looking for a Room in North/East/Central London

Hello! I'm Ross, I'm 26 years old, and I'm looking for a room to rent in London, preferably around the north east and centre of the city (Dalston, Hoxton, Hackney, Clapton, Islington, thereabouts).

I'm looking for something available to rent for the long term, at least a year, and to share with no more than three other flatmates. Otherwise, I'm not particularly fussy about the other features of the room/flat/house!

A bit more about me. I work as a Civil Servant in Whitehall, where I am in the office at least twice a week and working remotely for the other days. I currently commute in from Sussex, but I want to move to London to make the most of what the city has to offer in my free time. As such, I'd like to live in an area with creative spaces nearby where I can meet other musicians, and with a vibrant international community with which I can practice my French, German and Portuguese. I am in no urgency to move up to London, but would like to do so before Christmas.

I am looking for calm and considerate people to live with. Flatmates who are also sociable, outgoing and keen to organise things would be appreciated, but are not essential for me. I've never flatshared before, but I've previously rented privately in Clermont-Ferrand in central France and Nottingham, and I'm happy to work with the existing flatmates to make the space a clean and friendly one.
