PhD Graduate & AI Prompt Engineer

Hi everyone,

My name is Mahed. I am a PhD graduate and have lived in the UK for over 15 years.

I am currently relocating to Edinburgh to start a new position at a tech company as an AI Engineer.

My new office is located right by St Andrew Square, so I am looking for a room in a shared flat that is within comfortable walking distance of the city centre (ideally New Town, Powderhall, Leith, or West End).

I am looking for a long-term home (6+ months) starting this November. Happy to accept short-term as well for minimum 1-3 months.

About me as a housemate:
• Clean, organized, and deeply respectful of communal spaces.
• Mostly busy with work during weekdays, but enjoy unwinding with a movie, exploring cafes, cooking, or a quiet chat over a hot drink in the evenings.
• Looking for a friendly, professional house share that strikes a great balance between a social environment and respect for personal space.

I can also arrange for my references and deposits. Please drop me a message if you think I’d make a good fit for your flat!

Best,
Mahed
