Looking for a flat share

Hi, I’m James. I’m 36, I work full-time in content design and I’m looking to join a flat share in East/South East London.

I’m sociable and outgoing, but also value a relaxed and communal home environment. I enjoy art, films, cycling, travelling and exploring London’s food scene. My major passion is music - regularly attending live events at venues across the city.

I moved to London in 2010 to study, and worked at a tech startup for nearly 10 years (while living in Hackney and later in Brixton) before leaving in 2024 to complete a master’s degree. Since joining the Civil Service in April, I’ve been spending 3 days a week in London, and now plan to move back permanently.

I’m looking for a large double room (preferably with an en-suite) with space to work from home 1-2 days per week. I’m focusing on East London and South East London as I know them well, they have good transport links to my office in Central London, and many of my close friends live in these areas. I’m available to move in immediately, with a view to committing for at least 6-12 months - but I can be flexible on timings and arrangements.
