Potential lodger/ housemate in Kendal

Hi! I'm Martin, I’m 39 and have been living and working in the Kendal area for the last 5 and a bit years. I’ve previously lived across the country (Portsmouth, Reading, Oxfordshire and The Lakes) although am originally from the North East 🙂

I’ve used SpareRoom since 2013 for all my house shares (6 in total) except for my most recent where I’ve shared directly with the landlord for almost the last 3 years. Due to a change in their circumstances I am now actively looking again for a new house or flat share (🤞 it will be my last before hopefully buying a place of my own). I am also due to start a new full time job in the area following a redundancy.

As a person I'm a pretty approachable, considerate and sociable housemate that is reasonably tidy and very respectful of peoples' space and belongings. I treat the spaces I live in as my own, I'm also a non-smoker, am a reasonably good cook and don’t mind sharing meals whenever convenient. I’m always happy to contribute towards maintaining a pleasant living environment with whoever I share with.

Ideally I'd be looking for a furnished or partly furnished room with a reasonable amount of storage space however can be flexible as my priority is to find the right kind of place and house share before starting my new job 🙂 Please do get in touch if you think I’d be a suitable person to share with and I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
