Quiet professional with dog seeking calm house.

Hi all

I’m an easy going and chilled guy looking for a calm house to lodge in. I’ve lodged for years and have enjoyed some long-term, stable living with some interesting people. I’m not prone to staying in my room on work days and am happier when cooking socially and enjoying downtime with housemates.

There are many benefits to living with me, I hope! I currently work as a water hygiene engineer and have specialised in plumbing and bathroom fitting in the past. I have ALL the tools and love to make things work around the house. I am a bit different to the average and have a unique outlook on life. I am fairly sociable but need to be in my own space regularly and respect others’ needs for that. I have a current DBS check and can provide a reference from a previous lodging landlady.

Ideally, I’d like to live in or near Swindon as my three children (aged 17-19) live there. I’d consider other locations depending on what’s on offer and would love to be in the countryside. I have a 10 year old Lurcher called Snoopy who is usually a very quiet dog and likes to “rest” all day. I leave for work fairly early so I can get back home in the early afternoon to walk him.

Also ideal is a garden (love to bbq) and a garage or shed (for all those tools!) and fairly easy parking as I have a work van and a clapped out old car (I like doing mechanics too).
