Description
Hello there.
I'm in Seaford until ~16 March and looking for a place to call home (moving out as landlord wants to rent whole house to one person).
Ideally somewhere in Sussex, with good links to London—Lewes would be perfect, but I’m open to discovering a lovely new town if the place is right.
I’m a writer and work from home, so I need a space where I can focus. I'm happy to pay up to ~£1k (inc. bills) for a place of my own, or less if shared.
For income I am managing three projects: a) a community composting pilot in Forest Row & Wealden, b) supporting Old Tree Soil with their transition to a Community Benefit Society, c) workshop pilot to support struggling 16-18y. olds in Crawley schools.
I'm also a mentor and community leader with the chairty A Band of Brothers in Crawley, who support young men in the criminal justice system (or at risk of being drawn into it).
I thrive in peaceful, well-kept spaces with natural light and room for books, plants, and creative work. I’d love access to nature, whether that’s a garden, nearby green space, or just a good view.
My preference is a 1-bed, studio, annex but I am open to a house share with 1-2 others with similar interests. Somewhere where I have my own space and the freedom to do my own thing and have friendly chats in between.
I travel occasionally, so flexibility and ability to sub-let would be a bonus. Minimum stay 2 months, ideally longer if it’s right.
If you have something that sounds like a match, I’d love to hear from you
