Reliable, House-Proud Decorator Seeks Private 1-Bed/Studio in Devon (Rolling Contract Preferred)

Hi there!
I am relocating from Hertfordshire to beautiful Devon and am looking for my own private space. I am seeking a 1-bedroom flat, studio, bedsit, or annex. Please note: I am looking for an independent living space and am not looking to share a house or flat.
I am moving down with some of my initial belongings and will fetch the rest later once settled.

About My Situation:
• Finances: I have two months rent upfront plus a full deposit ready to go.
• Employment: I will be actively looking for work as soon as I arrive. Because of this transition, I am ideally looking for a landlord open to a monthly rolling contract to start, with the intention to stay long-term once my work is secured.
• Move in date: I am not in a rush to move as I need to box up my belongings. I have only used 08/10/2026 as a guide and am happy to wait until the time is right for you and what works for us both but also I can be ready fairly quickly if it felt right on both ends.
• References: I have lived with my parents all my life, so I do not have a traditional previous landlord reference. However, I can easily provide character references or a guarantor if required.

• Cleanliness: I am incredibly house-proud, clean, tidy, and respectful of properties.
• Pets: I absolutely love animals but I am not bringing any pets with me.
I am friendly, quiet and reliable and am looking for a fresh start in the South West! It's a life changing move for me and I am aware that it's a long distance to be able to come and view and to meet up so I am open to video chat if necessary.
