Double room wanted in a friendly and quiet home

Hi, I'm looking for a small, non-smoking flat/houseshare, ideally somewhere that's a quick-ish journey either by bus or tram to town. A single room is fine if everything else is OK. I'm fairly flexible as to areas but prefer south Manchester and would like to stay in Levenshulme, or be nearby as I work there.

I work in health and social care, and am usually out two or three times a week. I'm studying for a p/t Phd, so a desk would be great, but it's not a dealbreaker. Studying in peace is a must!

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, clubs, reading, shopping, the cinema, theatre, and eating out. Things I don't like are going to pubs, sport, and though I'm happy to socialise with people I live with, I don? t want to live in a party house. I'm respectful of other people? s privacy and expect the same in return.
