Single Room to Rent in Family Home

Note the room is not available until 15th September.

Live-in landlord with two teenage daughters, so we would prefer a female housemate to ensure a comfortable and respectful household environment. We also have a friendly short-haired cat, so the home would best suit someone comfortable with pets.

We have a bright and comfortable single room available in our four bedroom family home. The room includes a built-in wardrobe, a drawer unit, and a desk – ideal for studying or working from home. It also comes with access to a shared bathroom (shared with my daughters), a large, fully-equipped kitchen-diner, and a lovely garden. Off-road parking is available, along with a secure shed for bicycle storage.

The home is just a 10-minute walk to Earley train station, offering direct links to Reading and London. Local bus routes provide easy connections between Reading and Bracknell. The University of Reading is also nearby, making this an ideal location for students or professionals.

Within easy reach are a range of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, parks, gyms, and leisure centres. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and Reading town centre with The Oracle shopping centre is a short journey away.

As a household, we’re active and friendly, with interests including football, netball, handball, running, bike riding, films, and music of all types. We are also urban beekeepers, with an apiary in the garden – you’d be very welcome to give beekeeping a try!

There is no minimum length of stay. Rent is £550 per month, with WiFi all bills included.

Off-road parking for one car is available.
