Fed up with living in a multiple occupancy house where it’s noisy, your food goes missing, can’t get to the cooker and tons of washing up left in the sink?

Come and stay in a comfortable, bright, single furnished bedroom, in a homely Victorian terraced house in West Reading with TV, chest of drawers and double wardrobe for a professional person working full-time.. Located just off Oxford Road with a two minute walk to Reading West Station, bus stops, lots of local shops and 15 minute walk to town centre/main Reading station. Easy 10/15min drive to M4 Jct 11 & 12.

Shared with owner, a relaxed and chilled house with a front lounge and back lounge (which has a large dining table, a kitchen and large bathroom, and a small south facing garden. Must be a non-smoker, clean, sociable and tidy person, and a cat lover.

This area is safe. My previous lodger, who was with me for 2.5yrs, used to walk from the theatre and central Reading late at night and never felt uncomfortable.

The rent is £700 per calendar month incl. bills. However, If you plan to work from home 2/3 days a week this will rise to £750 to cover the extra broadband/electricity costs.
Rent inclusive of all bills. Bedding and towels available if you do not have your own.
